Discovered by Abbado and Ashkenazy and signed by Decca when he was 17 years old, Swedish pianist Peter Jablonski went on to perform, collaborate, and record with world’s leading orchestras and conductors, taking his place among the leading pianists of his generation. During the last 30 years on international stages he has performed with over 150 orchestras, given over 2000 concerts, and has been on 30 tours of Japan.

 

Forthcoming appearances include recitals at Wigmore Hall, London, Seoul Arts Centre, and concerts with the Swedish Radio Symphony OrchestraRecent appearances include Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra with Marie Jacquot, Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra with Nicholas Collon, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra with Jukka-Pekka Saraste, National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra with Lawrence Foster, and Tokyo Symphony Orchestra with Jonathan Nott.

 

Peter Jablonski records exclusively for Ondine, with recent releases including piano works and piano concerti by Grażyna Bacewicz, and the complete mazurkas by Frederic Chopin. His latest recording of piano works by Ronal Stevenson was released on 4 October 2024.
